Vuentica is a consultancy firm that provides a full range of services in the field of risk management and the improvement of business processes. We cater projects as well as project-driven companies.
Our expertise consists of a wide range of services such as risk management, optimising business processes, business intelligence applications, performance dashboards and auditing.
Consultancy services in Early Contractor Involvement are provided with regard to tenders, feasibility studies, partnerships and coordination of projects; this can be done in all possible areas and in different sectors such as industry, government/public works, engineering.
In these domains, we also offer the development and implementation of suitable software tools as well as training programs.

Kenneth Willems on ECI practices, presentation in London

On the 25th of November, PIANC UK is organizing an event in London on the five most recent PIANC Working Group Reports. It will take place at the headquarters of the renowned Instituion of Civil Engineers (ICE).
At this event, professionals in the industry have the chance to ask questions and hear from the authors reports. A unique chance to get in touch with experts!
As chairman of one of the working groups, our own Kenneth Willems will be present to share his expertise and insights from the latest publication: 'A Framework for Early Contractor Involvement in Infrastructure Projects'.
The PIANC Working Group Reports are acknowledged across the world as the result of the most recent analysis and study on a variety of environmental, navigational, and maritime challenges. They are frequently utilized as sources for national and international standards as well as reference information.
Kenneth Willems on how to effectively organize an ECI phase

On October 6th in Brussels, an international conference on Early Contractor Involvement was held in Brussels. There, Vuentica's managing director Kenneth Willems spoke about how to effectively organize an ECI phase.
The right foundations for an ECI phase were covered at the PIANC Conference, including how to conduct a feasibility test and what factors are crucial in decision-making. The audience also learned about best practices to actively manage the collaboration and how to share knowledge.
Vuentica organizes a succesful international conference on ECI
October 07th, 2022
On October 6th in Brussels, Vuentica curated and sponsored a succesful international conference on early contractor involvement. It was a pleasure to have curated this event with all its networking opportunities.
Over 100 participants were welcomed! The participants consisted of lawyers specializing in contracts and procurements as well as engineers and managers of large construction works. Diverse topics were explored by a panel of gender-balanced, passionate speakers. Different tracks got covered, from procurement models and contract forms to organization & soft skills. The audience also got the chance to look at early contractor involvement cases in Panama, Denmark and in The Netherlands.
Seminar session at Project Controls Inspiration Day

At Proove’s yearly Project Controls Inspiration Day, in beautiful Tivoli Castle in Mechelen, Kenneth Willems did a seminar session on Early Contractor Involvement.
His session provided information on several ECI model types, when each model is appropriate, and how each model differs in terms of project management, project controls, risk provisioning, and other areas. With some good industry practices and specific cases, some approaches were discussed and how they help avoid and resolve disagreements more effectively.
Investing in effective collaboration from the beginning is the best approach to manage and deliver a project!
