The Vuentica team consists of a number of experts with engineering, legal or business management background and experience from the oil and gas, wind power and public infrastructure. We have been designing and working with applications to manage risks and opportunities on major projects and businesses for many years. We understand the need for applications that can handle big data and are easy to use. We’re a small team of experienced and dedicated professionals with extensive experience in structuring and streamlining tools and processes for efficient decision making, both in risk management and early contractor involvement.
Kenneth Willems is founder and managing director of Vuentica. He is active in risk and project management and governance since 2005, with experience acquired in managerial functions across Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.
From 2015 till 2019, he was Head of the Corporate Risk Management department in DEME Group, leading a team of professionals in developing risk management tools, implementing risk management across the organization and establishing strong internal controls.
Kenneth is a civil engineer (2005 - University of Ghent) and holds an MBA (2012 - Manchester Business School). Kenneth is also an active participant in international infrastructure and risk management initiativesand committees. He is currently chairman of a PIANC workgroup on Early Contractor Involvement, vice-chairman of the Belgian-Luxembourg chapter of the Institute of Risk Management and he is an Expert at NBN standardization commissions on IS031000.
His particular interest lies in the design and implementation of risk management systems in organizations operating in project-based sectors as well as facilitating early contractor involvement at large infrastructure projects.
Céline Hanauer is founder and managing director of Vuentica. She obtained her Master degree of International Law in 1999 (University of Strasbourg). She has acquired several years of international experience, especially in the field of academic research and training.
Civil servant for the French government since 2004, Céline further developed her interest in intellectual property by completing a postgraduate law degree in industrial property rights and new technologies in 2018 (University of Lille).
In recent years, Céline gained experience in sales of innovative IT-products and managing start-ups and non-for-profit associations, focusing on the statutory, administrative and contractual aspects.
